If I have Word 2000 running on my XP machine, and I open a password-protected Word document by double-clicking the file name in Windows Explorer, it pulls up the dialog box for the password dialog box just fine.

I want to type vertical text but when I use the command in Tools the characters are rotated 90 degs too. The vertical text command also seems to work only in a text box. How can I keep the letters normal and vertical other than by using a line

I'm using Word 2002 from Office XP Pro. I've noticed that every time I restart Word that the return address for doing envelopes is blank. It does not save this address between Word sessions. Is there a setting I'm missing, or something else I need to do to activate this feature?

I developped an addin (<filename>.dot loaded with "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\WINWORD.EXE" /L<filename>.dot) and have some problems. This template changes some settings like viewing of bookmarks etc..

somehow sometime ago I found a symbol or picture of a hand with a finger pointing out. When I print in my old computer it prints nicely but when I try to print it in my new computer all I get is literally the letter k two times: KK . Can someone help me?
