Has anybody had the following happen upon inserting a footnote. When you
hover over the footnotenumber in the body text a screentip appears showing
the full content of the text of the footnote.

I have a super annoying problem with Word 2002 (Office XP).
The problem is that in new or existing documents, I cannot indent or
bullet-on-off a single line of text.
If I put my cursor on one single line, or highlight one single line,

I have office xp in English. I need Word to autodetect
and show spelling or grammar errors, in both English and
Dutch.  If it´s relevant, I have a ´language bar´

After the worm attacked my computer, I had to do a safe
mode non-destructive reconstruction of my system.  Now,
when I attempt to open a new page in Windows 97, for
example a fax template, there are none there.  I have

I am having trouble with the default formatiing for Word (2000).  How do I
save as a template a "virgin" default.  No tabs, no paragraph nubering, no

I just upgraded to Office XP Pro. The first thing I
noticed when I opened my documents were the crop marks in
each corner. How do I get rid of this?

I am running MS Word 2000 under Windows 2000.  I am using a LogiTech
TrackMan instead of a mouse, and it does not have a scroll wheel.  When I
try to scroll down (or up) by holding down the left button and moving the
cursor down below the page (or up above the page), Word scrolls ...

Hi i have a hp xp pc, which i purchased two years
ago .Unfortunatley i was never able to enter my access id
so as that i could use my word 2000.This was because, it
was supposed to be located on the back of cd jewel case.

17 year word processing user here.  My colleagues and I
have been noticing that overstrike mode will go on
seemingly by itself.  I thought maybe we were hitting
control and some key but haven't figure out which key.

I am looking for anyone that has come across this problem before. A
staff member at our school was working on a new planning document, a
template off the network (NT4 Server + Win98se workstations). At some
point or somehow the file was saved as a shortcut file (not sure how).
