Strange things happen...
I have Word 2002 on a Toshiba laptop, connected to a router and from there
to the cable net.
I also access the printer through the main computer.

i dont know if i am in the right place,but,i type a
document on one page and save it.then when i open it up
the next time there are two pages,the second one is
blank.how do i get rid of page 2?

We run WIndows XP, with 4 users on the computer.
WORD will not run for my daughter - we keep getting an
error message saying WORD has envountered a problem and
has to shut down.  It runs perfectly for all other users.

When does the size of a Word 2000 document become a problem - leading to
slow downs, crashes, etc? My kids are working on a research paper that is
over 30 pages long and 1.5 meg in size. They have several meg worth of

I need to make up a bunch of weekly and monthly schedules. I created
some tables with 7 columns -- one for each day of the week. I want to
use colors to indicate what the days are used for, eg. activity1,

I have database in SQL and I am trying to use mail merge function in word to
retreive information from my SQL database.
If I try to print shipdate, it prints 09/03/2003 11:00:01 AM.

I have Word 2000 (SR - 1) running under Windows XP.
If I select a number of Word documents in Windows Explorer and then
hit Enter instead of all of the documents opening into a single
instance of Word, they each open up an instance of Word which then

Whenever I open a Word doc  file directly from Windows Explorer,  I
get a message asking if I want to "revert to the saved  *.doc".
This does not happen if I open the Word software first and then get
the doc from the file/open menu.

my other styles are based). I now realise this style has
changed to Standard,SS Char,Standard Char Char. I
understand this to be a reference to a character style.
