Question:  I can't find the Task pane (or New  Document
Task pane) that are referenced in the Word chapter of the
Step by Step manual.  I have MS Office XP on my IBM T30
notebook computer.  Is there some way to activate this

Susan, yes, there's no reason why the cd should be
necessary for the removal of Works, but the ms article
said it was. I just don't understand (and I really try)
why these contradictory or confusing instructions seem to

I wish to place jump points in my documents, in
otherwords instead of clicking with my mouse i wish to

How do I--using Find and Replace--place quotation marks
around a selected word or group of words? When I select a
group of words my attempts have produced either EACH word
in quotes or TWO words in quotes, not the whole phrase.

I have been told that Word includes the ability to read to you, and also to
take dictation.  In other words to translate print to speech and speech to

I can't find it.   I do find the word "speech" on one of the menues but get

Tools\Language\Set Language.  I double-clicked a language by mistake and it
is now in the upper part of the window, separated from the complete list of
languages, along with the two languages I do want there.  How do I get the
unwanted language out of there?

I currently have no tool bars and no menus (no File, Edit,
View). An error happened and it asked to revert to saved
