Cursor Disappearing Act31 Dec 2003 19:16 GMT1
In Word 2000 as you type in any document (new or saved) every 10 seconds or so the cursor disappears and the upper left corner of the document greys.  This lasts about 2-3 seconds.  Great annoyance - any suggestions?  It is not autosave.  Thanks.

I've copied and pasted an article into Word 2002.  Each paragraph is
seperated by an empty line.  Is there a way to remove this line so that no
white space remains?

Have previously had no trouble scanning a document directly into Word97.
Now after upgrading to Word 2002 via Office XP I no longer can do this
except via Simple OCR - another OCR program and then only in two bites.
