I know I fixed this once, but cannot find the fix now. The problem is
that anything copied to the windows clipboard cannot be pasted into
Word 2002 if Word starts after the copy.  I must first start Word
2002, then go do the copy outside of Word and then I can paste it in.

I want to include text in a template, using INCLUDETEXT. When I specify

Here's an interesting puzzle for experts.  In my Word 97 documents that
use Courier (the font in which I do most of my drafts), instead of
double hyphens I use a non-breaking hyphen followed by a regular hyphen,
that is, in VBA language, Chr(30) followed by Chr(45).  This keeps the

When I open Word 2000 my new document shows a paragraph
symbol and an underline to the right of the curser. I
don't remember these symbols being there previously. How
do I remove them?
