I use Word 2000 in Hebrew. Sometimes strange horizontal lines appear and
I can't erase them no matter what I do - mark the whole page and
delete, nothing. They stick. This happens especially when I change
paragraph direction to write in English.

that it launches with the file the last session ended with.  She
advised me to create a new shortcut incorporating the switch

Back again, I'm having problems getting this done.How can I outline an area
with dotted lines and then write in it. What I like to do is write in that
area and then cut it out along the dotted line. I like the area to be 3x5"
