Recently I had to replace the hard drive on my laptop.
After I got it replaced I needed to reinstall Microsoft
Word. The trouble is that over the past couple of years I
have misplaced the jewel case that contains the ID or

files used in the past in MY Documents folder that was saved on CD and

I have a long document and the page numbers go back to 2 in
the middle of the doc. When I go to the page in question and
open the footer, the correct page displays.
And when I close the footer it reverts to displaying 2.

Using Word 2000 and Outlook 2000
I tried to make labels using my contacts list from outlook

I have adobe pdfmaker loaded on my system.   This has added macros to my
normal.dot.  These macros are causing some people's email systems to reject
documents from me.   I can't seem to delete these macros to send a clean
document.  Can anyone help?

I can't find the path in the registry specified for ACL-
files.
Ive read the KB-article 822005 (Word 2003) which states
that the location of the user.acl-file is specified in

On a few occasions, Suzanne Barnhill has given me complete
insturctions how to create a shortcut which would open word
(xp) with the last document edited (mfile1 switch).  I have
used it successfully.

I have a Word document auto-numbered with headings. When I
convert to .pdf, the .pdf bookmarks don't pick up the auto-
numbers--only the heading titles.  Does anyone know how to
turn auto-numbers into manual numbers?  Or better yet, how

My office assistant turned off for some reason, so I went

We've just migrated to Word 2003 and are having a problem with Word
automatically continuing to create new "Styles" based on individual
paragraph formatting changes.  I've already turned off "define styles
based on your formatting", but Word continues to create new Styles -

I don't really know where to put this since it does not really apply to
any of the existing topic areas.  I have two documents and I am
attempting to keep the styles identical in both documents.  The problem
is that on a few of the styles, particularly - but not exclusively -

A user sent a Word email attachment using Sent To - Mail
Recipient (As Attachment).  The recipient received it as a
Word Perfect Document. When the attachment was sent again
by opening Outlook and insert - attachment, the same
