All of a sudden when I open a new document, I am getting this funny character, looks like a reversed P by my cursor. How can I get rid of it?

I use Office 97 in an XP Home system. 1. Can I install Office XP to co-exist with 97 or will the 2 conflict? I am especially concerned about the two Words not conflicting, at least until I am comfortable with the new office suite.

Is there a way to use a piece of artwork to serve as a bullet. My organization wants to use a graphic that resembles a torch to be used as a bullet. I know Word can do this, but it resizes the bullet to a standard bullet

The Courier font does not list as an option in Word. It is installed in C:\Windows\Fonts and does appear in the drop down list in Excel, but not in Word. How do I get Courier to list in Word? - Larry

Please could someone confirm that if I copy everything but the last paragraph marker for an existing document and paste it into a new document, that the meta data is excluded in the new document? Does meta data include track change information?

I downloaded the 2002-03 Academic Calendar template from microsoft. I was able to edit the months, days, watermark and text. I am now trying to add a circle or square around specific days in the calendar and I can't. Any ideas?
