in the early versions of Word for MAC (ver 5, 98, etc),
Word had a feature called a glossary.  It allowed you to
store boiler plate text and easily put it into a
document.  Is there anything like this in the PC versions

At the start of using Microsoft word 2002 it had a standard 8.5" x 11" page lay out when clicking on icon for blank page.
Suddenly it went to a half size, and I can not find anywhere to get this back to a full age? I know how to set margins and top and bottom, but that doesn't ...

I am running Windows XP and Microsoft Word 2002. When I open Microsoft Word,
the tack pane does not show. I go to View>Toolbars and check Task Pane. When
I close Word and open it again, there is no task pane.
How can I solve this problem?

having trouble doing graphs can any one help

I have a document where I create a section break.  Then I insert another
Word document below this section break.  Shouldn't all margin and header
information from the inserted document be applied to the new document below
the section break.  The margins are not and infact the header ...

I'm being stopped by this message when I try to copy and paste pictures
from Paperport 9.0 to a Word document. I've tried it from two desktops,
one with Office XP and the other with Office 2000. I get exactly the
same message from both.

I am working on a document many hands have fiddled with.  I would like to have ONE tab setting for the entire document.  Can this be done in Word?  I highlighted the whole document and set tabs, but when I go down a few paragraphs, the old tabs return.

I inserted a Banner type graphic of Clipart into a Word 2003 document.  But
anything I try I can't seem to lock it's position so I can have text type
over the Banner graphic of clipart.  How can this be done?

I'm using the drawing toolbar to insert auto  shapes (lines, arrows and text
boxes) into a picture box.  Each time I select one of the items on the
drawing toolbar, or the Insert Menu bar, a large textbox comes up with large
