Recently,"Add / Remove Programs" just disappeared from the CONTROL PANEL. How do I reinstall "Add / Remove Programs" to the Control Panel without having to reinstall Windows XP Home ( which would require backing up my hard drive (8 GB of data). Thanks for your help!

How do I delete a non-Microsoft menu item from Word 2003's top menu bar? I've tried deleting it via Tools > Custom but it doesn't show. It must be in a file buried in a common file.

Headers are the bane of W2000 for me. At work, I have a 100+ page document w/ two title pages that I don't want to put the header/footer on or include in the page numbering. So, far, I can't get the second title page to give up the header/footer w/o affecting what follows.

I created a user bullet, and added it in the list and clicked on add template. That document and any NEW documents I create will have that style available if I need it. However when I open older documents before that bullet style was created, that style is no where to be found.

My Word 2002 always asks if I want to save the file when I exit the program, even if no changes have been made to the contents. What is the likely reason? Thanks

I know that Autocorrect can be a wonderful thing, but I want to turn off all its options. I uncheck everything, but when I leave Word and return later, all the features are back. How can I keep the options I turn off turned off? Using Windows XP and MS Word 2002 SP 1. Thanks.

Lately, when I double click any file with a .doc extension, Word opens up but the file contents do not appear. I get some standard message about the system cannot locate the file. However, if I open word first then navigate to the file and open it from within word, it opens fine.
