I have Word 2000 SP3, running on WinXP.
I receive a news letter (WordTips) ) in .pdf format, and I
occasionally use Acrobat to convert it to rtf. It's a lot
easier this way, for example, to copy macros the newsletter

I am using Word 2002 in XP.
Among my fonts I have some Greek and Hebrew fonts installed and they show up
among the fonts available to use.  However, if I select a Hebrew font for
example and then type, what prints on the screen are Latin characters.  I

Note: As soon as new heading 1 occurs a page break takes place. There fore all pages uness a page break occurs must have the same stamp of heading 1.

   I started by making up a list of items.  I typed in a line by using
dashes.  Before I knew it the line of dashes had turned into a thin line,
without breaks, that went all the way to the right margin of the page.  I

Is there a way to protect a run of text from being deleted? For example, the
Rich Edit Control's RTF has a control word called "protect". Any text with
this property is visible but not-deleteable. Is there something equivalent
in Word 2000 and above?

I click Shift/Alt/D to insert the current date in documents. Forever
after whenever  I open a doc the date is automatically changed to the
current date. How can I make Word NOT update these date within the
