We have recently installed Word 2002 on our network at work.  If I open Word
and then open a file and then close the file via the appropriate "x," Word
closes with it.  I assume this is a an option (default?), but would prefer

I am inserting a lengthy external document into a report I'm printing with
MS word. I have page numbering throughout, and a comprehensive table of
contents. I don't want to insert tons of blank pages, though, to take the

Howdy,
I run W2000 and just got an error that I have not seen, and cannot
interpret. I checked the KB with no luck.

I have a template which has some text boxes inside of it.  How can I copy
the whole template?  Can't seem to select all and insert it into another
document or location on the same document.

New user...obviously
I typed up some documents and saved them onto a cd(this was on my father's computer)
I tried to open the files on MY computer, but it's all boxes and other types of symbols(somebody said ANSI...who knows?)
How can i convert the documents back into a regular text ...

Using Word 2002 on XP. When I have one Word document open and click on the
smaller close window box, I would expect that document to close and Word
stay open with no document open. Instead, Word closes out entirely. Why? How
