I have a general question about office 2000 and 2003, more specific i the Word product. My office uses several different templates (which have set form field and in protection for ease of navigation) which work in Office 2000.

I can slide existing tabs (but this is not precise enough) I can make new tabstops I can delete old ones but i cant edit existing ones? (i attempt to, it creates a new one)

WordPerfect had a feature which allowed you to save not only your current document, but all documents which were open at the time. The next time you opened up WordPerfect, you could continue right where you left off.

i want to protect the formfield from being deleted in Word doc. and, i want to make it moveable in the doc. but, i don't want to protect the doc. so that users have the freedom to edit the doc. does anyone has any idea or examples on how to do that?
