Using XP Home with Word 2002. On rare occasions I notice Winword.exe will run after I've been working on a doc. I sense it is a sign of something not going well. What exactly is Windword.exe and what launches it?

I've just had W2k forced on me at work, instead of Word97. I can't find a way to stop word opening a new document in a new window, instead of in a daughter window. Surely there's a way to do this? I'm running NT4.

My cursor is there - until I hit the Enter key. Then the cursor (insertion point) disappears. I can still type and see what I type, but there's no cursor on the next line - or anywhere - after I hit Enter. Paul

When I click the print button to print a report in Access 2003, if the printer is turned off, the printer automatically gets turned on and prints. This doesn't happen in Word 2003. If the printer is off the print job waits 'till I turn on the printer.

I trying to use the ampersand in my item in drop-down list. I can create it that way, but when I lock my form, select the item form the drop down, the & sign doesn't appear. Example.. I create it as A & B. When I lock my document, it appears as AB.

I send out emails sometimes directly from word and I would like to know if it is possible to add an attachment to that document. Also, is there any way that I can get a read redeipt from sending an email driectly from word? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
