Using XP Home with Word 2002.  On rare occasions I notice Winword.exe will
run after I've been working on a doc.  I sense it is a sign of something not
going well.
What exactly is Windword.exe and what launches it?

I've just had W2k forced on me at work, instead of
Word97.  I can't find a way to stop word opening a new
document in a new window, instead of in a daughter window.
Surely there's a way to do this?  I'm running NT4.

I have FrontPage 2003 and two Web sites up and running for some nonprofit clubs.  My Desktop has filled up with e icons (Links, Membership, etc.), yellow file folders (index_files, photos_files, etc.) and bps ending files (-1, -2, etc.).  I'm afraid to delete them or do anything ...

Is there a way to disable the caplock key?  I keep hitting it with my clumsy
fingers.

My cursor is there - until I hit the Enter key.  Then the cursor (insertion
point) disappears.  I can still type and see what I type, but there's no
cursor on the next line - or anywhere - after I hit Enter.

I have tried the Send to PowerPoint feature with an 82 page Word document
but it doesn't work.  All that happens is that PowerPoint opens with about
14 slides, the text on the 1st page of the Word document appears on slide 12
or 13 and nothing else appears anywhere in the PPT (white ...

When I click the print button to print a report in Access 2003,
if the printer is turned off, the printer automatically gets turned
on and prints. This doesn't happen in Word 2003. If the printer
is off the print job waits 'till I turn on the printer.

I have this new form setup at work.  It sends a table word
document as an email message to several of our customers.  
Problem is, I am getting "Attachment blocked" messages
from the customers.  Specifically, the message I get is:

I trying to use the ampersand in my item in drop-down list.  I can create it that way, but when I lock my form, select the item form the drop down, the & sign doesn't appear.  Example.. I create it as A & B.  When I lock my document, it appears as AB.

I am looking into teaching MS Word to create diagrams that explains or

I am in the process of transferring text from numerous fields in one

it is copied and pasted as a field not as regular text. If I select
everything except the first or last character it copies & pastes as ...

I send out emails sometimes directly from word and I would like to know if it is possible to add an attachment to that document.  Also, is there any way that I can get a read redeipt from sending an email driectly from word?  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks
