Whenever I open MS Word (2003) at the right side of the window appears an annoying "Getting Started" + help subwindow. I have always to close it explicitely. How do I get permanently get rid of this automatic help panel? Thomas

Hi I am quite lazy, is there any way to centre a highlighted piece of text just using a keyboard shortcut. For instance Ctrl and B is for bold you can turn that on and off. I want to know if you can do the same sorta thing for centring a line

Anybody know of any good resources for learning how to use Word 2000? Online is fine, but so are books. The help files aren't speaking to me, and I'd like to read some other person's explanations of stylerefs, numbering pages and chapters, and such.

I would like to locate a list of the formatting marks Word displays when the "reveal formatting" option is is selected, and some indication what they mean. Most are obvious -- a dot is a space, a paragraph mark is a paragraph, etc.
