For some reason my recent file list does not always add a recent file to the

In Word 2003, I want to add a button to the toolbar to create a new document
based on a custom template, and I understand I'll need a macro first to
assign to the button. So I tried to use the macro recorder for this simple
task, but when I run the macro, it just opens the "File, ...

I have a group of 20 templates used for audio cd covers. Is there a way to
incorporate them into words template list so I can just use "New document"
instead of having to manually selecting the template each time.

not working.

I'm trying to get a mail merge wizard set up to print about 250 labels.  The
problem is that when I make the document, it only comes up as one page, so
it will only print the first 30 labels (using the template for label 5160).
I tried telling it to print pages 1-2 as a test, but ...

Is there anyone that can assit me?  For some unknown reason, Word will load
the same file twice, and the program just crashes.  It often does this on
its own.  Everything is going along fine then everything locks up.
Doing a "Windows task manager" I will find the same file loaded ...

I have been using Word for many years. My laptop has always defaulted
to alphabetically ordered file names. Today for no apparent reason,
all file names became randomly organized? or at least organized
without respect to alphabetical order.

I have had my comp. crash and I reinstalled everything
