Hi. I'm trying to print envelopes from an Access database, using Mail
merge, and I really need some help. Haven't done a merge since forever.
I can't get it to merge and it's not drawing from the database. It's
showing in print preview, only one envelope, and it's picking up the

I am converting all my Works7.0 documents to Word2003 by using the "save as"
in the file menu.
What would be the best "save as type name" in the drop down menu (Rich Text
Format -Text file-Word 6.0- etc.) to save it to ?

On many  cut-and-pasted paragraphs, there are wrap-around sentences that
have the formatting "line return" or "carriage return" designation or
symbol, which is either created by the writer?s margins, or the writer?s
Shift+enter creation.

How do I change the format to line numbers after I have generated the
document?
Number them with Page Layout options but would like smaller fonts.

I'm modifying a script for creating a configuration report in Word.  I tried
first in a computer running the english version of Word for Office XP and it
ran very well. Then I tried in a computer running the spanish version of
Word 2003 and it was a mess.  My questions are:

I was sent a Word document as an attachment in an email recently.  I
saved the document into Word and read it.  I printed it out, and lo and
behold it printed a couple of decorative headings which were not visible
in the normal Word screen.  On subsequently looking in Print ...

Help!  Somehow I have lost the standard and formatting toolsbars in MS Word.
(I also use Word as my default email editor.)
- When I right-click on the gray area (at the top of the screen) when in
Word, the "Customize" dialogue box appears.

When I create a table of contents (on page 2) I get my cover page title
(page 1) as first item on table. As this does not look good especially when
it is printed in font size 20, I would like to "hide" it.  Is this possible?

Fully justify text button is missing from toolbar,the two that are showing
are centre and left. I have set the show all formatting tools but the justify
and right are still not showing.

In WordPerfect I can make an x with bar over the top (to denote average x
value) using the overstrike feature. If I save the WP doc and open it in
Word I still have the x-bar. But I cannot find how to make x-bar in Word.

I have just installed MS Office XP Professional. Each time I start a
component, ie. Word, Access, I get a dialog that states "Preparing to
install", followed by a messasge states, "Please wait while Windows
configures Microsoft Office XP."  Then a message, "Gathering information"

I want to copy the custom Dictionary from my old pc into the new machine.
