Word 2000
I posted on this the Long Documents board but have not received any
responses.  Can anyone give us any insight into this?
Client is working on an employee handbook, and is putting links in to a web

How can I insert a bookmark in a document ofr the purose of a cross reference?
I go to Insert --> Bookmark
But when I enter a bookmark the "Add" option is blanked out, and the only
thing I can do is close it.

I'm using OfficeXP with Windows 98SE. I'm suddenly unable to read any files
from any diskettes in my A drive. I either get a message that the document
name or path is invalid, or that Word failed reading from this file and to
restore the network connection or replace the floppy and ...

Can anyone help me with this? I'm not sure if this is possible, but I have a
vague idea that I came across this as a Microsoft Word feature years ago but
have never had occasion to use it until now. (I have MS Word 2000, by the
way.)

I just installed Word 2003 and the menu drop down lists do not automatically
expand.  I had this on my earlier version of Word but can not recall the
procedure.  What can I do to have the list expand when I click on a menu
button?

When I print a word document with page numbers, the numbers do  not
print.  Instead I get this

What can I change (select or unselect) to get page numbers to print?

I am using Word 2003.  Is there a shortcut I can click on that will
automatically put a line across the page?

I write this here not because of any relevance to Word,
but due to this being the de facto Windows international
features newsgroup. I would be interested in others'
thoughts on these points.

I wrote a document in Word '97 with about 300 pages and 30 sections. For
each section-break I used the 'section break - next page' option; until
section 26 this works just fine, but when I want to insert a 'section
break - next page' to close section 27, Word turns this ...

After reformatting HD and opening "Word" I get this
screen that asks me the "Customer Information,

I am embedding excel objects into WORD and I have come across a spreadsheet
which is larger than the others and contains about 100 rows.  It imports
