I am using Word 2K 9.0. I click on the Envelopes & Labels and labels
icon then the Address Book icon. I then select an address from the
Address Book and select OK. The contacts name is always shown in the
Envelope window but the Home Address is only shown in some cases. I

I am trying to compare two documents, but Word 2003 says "Word cannot compare
a master document.  Try comparing one of the documents contained in the
master document.  It does not specify which document it is talking about.

I am printing a doc in W2000, and for some reason some of the comments
on the last page show the page number before the comment entry text,
and the remainer don't. I have tracked this to a field code issue,
however cannot find how to resolve it to make them all the same.

when I try to select characters or words in a text field by pressing
control+right or control+shift+right, all text to the end of the field
is selected. How can I select only part of the text?

Using Word 2002
Using Styles, I want to have my List Bullet 2 style have the same font as
Body Text style. I do a modify style on List bullet 2 and in the Modify
Style screen I change the "Style based on" to (Body Text), click OK.

How do you insert part of another file which automatically updates the
changes in that another file?
I tried to use Insert-File but it only inserts the current text of
another file.

When I go to Tools>options>general I find that "Recent Used File List"
is greyed out and I can't select this option. Consequently  recently
used files do not show in the toolbar "file" dropdown.
Any clues to how I can get this working.

Does anyone know where the default template is in Word 2003?  It appears to
be invisible.  I can find it in file search but can't locate the directory
it says it is in.

Having constructed a table with some 15 columns across, I now find that when
I try to resize the width of one column it affects the size of the adjacent
ones.
How can I avoid that?  In another words: say, that I have 5 columns, 3 cm

work.  I have several Sections and I want each to have it's one page
numbering.  For instance Section B is to page number B1 of x, B2 of x, ...
