Using as much MS help in Word as possible, I have been trying to make
a letter template for various occasions. I am old enough to know

I am trying to create a table with 11 columns and 6 rows.  I want the
outer border and some of the internal gridlines in the table to be
bolder than others.

only displays the page as a little over 9 1/2 inches wide. I have to select
