Hello, All! I have a bunch of Autotext entries in a custom template. Before I work on a particular document I have to go to Tools|Autocorrect Options|Autotext at which point I change the lookin field to point only to my custom template.

I don't seem to be getting any help from microsoft.public.word.spelling.grammar. Does anyone know how to set up outlook express 5 mac edition's dictionary? The spelling menu on the preference is grayed out which means I can't set it up or spellcheck.

When I first start up "Word", I want it to be in a normal window instead of full screen. I tried some settings in Options but I still can't figure this out. Thank you.

Is there a way for a VBA macro to put anything in the status bar? If not, is there a way for a macro to display progress information that does not require the user to gtake any action to clear it? I know that I can use a message box, but the user must do something

I´m using an add-in to the Normal.dot template. I have to change the format of some of the styles of the add-in to show hidden text, but some of them lose their hidden atribute when I save the document.

Can anyone help me to restore a corrupted Excel file? I checked and it's the only file I can't open. I've tried opening it in Safe Mode, tried using Word, tried Excel Viewer... it's an important file that I didn't backup (ugh!!!! That'll teach me). And it's the only one ...
