A friend sent me a Word document file and it was over 700 kB in
size.
I edited it (added a few words and changed some text from 14 pt to
12 pt) and when I saved it (Word 2000 in my case - I don't yet know

I am unable to delete highlighted words.  It's displaying "Delete Lock? No
(Yes)" at the bottom.  Where can I go to take this setting off?  I am able
to delete single letters.

I need to use VBA from Word to open a new Goldmine v.6.5 email message programmatically, and hopefully even go a step further and

I noticed a text to speech feature in Excel 2003, so I tried to use it in
word.  I clicked Speech in the Tools menu and got a dialogue about speech
recognition.  That does me no good, I can type better than I can speak at the
moment.  

I have typed address labels  and moved the typing to the right side so that I

In my old word programs, I have always been able to highlight a word or
phrase and delete it by hitting the spacebar.  Now it will delete only one
letter at a time.  Can I change the default setting?
