I have used the utility from Steve Rado to backup my word
97 autocorrect entries and that works. I then take it to
Word 2003 and perform the restore and it appears to work
as in I can see all the entries, but when I go into

I have just discovered MS Word's Quote field. Am I missing something, or is
this the most pointless feature ever created? According to the Word help
files, it simply inserts the literal text inside the field.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that something that can be done pretty

German spelling and grammar in Microsoft Office Word 2003?  I can check

I can't open several chapters of my dissertation, this is a

I was working on a Mac, OS X. Don't know which version of
Word, but recent. I am at home with my PC, Windows XP.

Friend has a problem with a fax form...I'm sure its easy to fix but I can't
see how.
He uses a fax form to send faxes as a Word document...
..he just opens up the form which has his name address tel nos etc on..then

I periodically receive duplicate emails from various
senders.  I cannot detect a pattern on these.  Any

I'm using Word 2000 and am inserting an Excel Worksheet as a Link. The
worksheet is several pages long.

I have imported (or pasted) an irregular shaped object
(clipartinto a word document. I want to add text around
it so that the text matches the shape and is not in a
box. How do you do that?

We are trying to switch from Wordperfect to Word for letters/faxes in my
office.  We currently have one box for all fillin fields to be entered at the
same time - can this be done in Word?  also, can Word place one fillin into
to locations in the new document?

I've searched via Google Groups and can't find the answer to this.

This is very annoying and has a negative effect on my computer's
responsiveness. I have a virus scanner installed and am happy to
rely on it doing its thing and would happily have Office ignore
checking. Suggestions welcome.
