I had Word 97 on my old computer and anytime I opened a text fox or inserted
a picture, etc. the wrapping was automatically set to "Top and bottom" and
now on the new installation it is automatically set to "None."  How do I set
this default?

When typing a name and surname it happens that it breaks up into two line.
How can I fix the problem?

making a paper with 3 columns, I want to change something in the first column
and it makes the other 2 columns move down, how do i get this not happen?? I
don't do alot on the computer

I typed my paper on a zip disk in a removable external drive. I think the
disk might be full because I had backed up many file into it. When I wanted
to add more writing on it, it would not pull up. It gives such messages as
"disk may be too full, document may be corrupted, etc." ...

Wanted to 'un'merge a document, and remove or hide the formatting notations.

Can't see it available on Insert, Symbol.
Sure Word 2000 had better selection of such symbols! Anyone know ASCII

I just upgraded to Word 2003.  I have old documents from the previous version
that suddenly will not print  because the margins are "outside the printable
area" of the page.  When I choose FIX it makes the bottom margin 2.67"  This
happens even with a blank new document.  Before ...

Using Word 03 on XP SP2 Box.
I posted this on the Win XP Printer group and am getting no response and I
think there is a lot more savvy help here any way.  I'm wasting a lot of

We've been experiencing some random, odd problems with different
documents lately.  The documents have a very simple header that, when
the document is first opened, shows only the name of the file, title of
the document, current date, and page numbers.
