I remember some time back hearing about some coding, I think it was,
that will show the templates in a pulldown menu that we can access
instead of going the FILE > NEW... ?  If I could remember what it was
called, I could look for the messages in the archives.

I have Office 2000 and XP Pro. I can't make any sense of what I'm
experiencing with Word and will appreciate some advice.
I can copy and paste a .jpg into a Word document from Paper Port, but I
can't perform the same action with the same picture from My Documents/My

Can the text color in word art be changed?  I have tried changing the font
color then using WordArt to change the shape, but the text reverts back to
black.
Can  changing the text color be done in WordArt?  If so how?

Just upgraded from Word 1997 to Word 2003.  In 97 when I open a new document
the template tabbed menu pops up automatically.  Is there away to set this
in 2003 as well.  Instead of the extra step to access the New Document Task
Pane.

my problem is that whenever i press the space bar botton inside the microsoft
word working area, the perid appears. help me pls.. thnks

When I leave my computer idle for more than 5 minutes, it goes into standbye
mode and I can't get out it without having to unplug my computer.  Does
anyone know how to do this?

when I send an e-mail with a document I have typed on MS works word processor
the receiver of the e-mails cannot open it. this is happening all the time

In Word 97, whenever I begin with a number and a period, it forces me
into an outline format.  I don't want Word to number or indent my stuff
or tell me what my document should look like.  I just want to type on a
blank piece of paper.  How can I "turn off" this feature?
