I need to do a mutable text change. What I mean is that I have a rather
large document, that has several entries of "P3" which I need to change
to "ACP". Is there a way to do that with out having to go through the
whole document and make individual changes?

I have just spotted that all my invoice documents are getting bigger.
I am in the habit of taking the last one I produce, and making
relevent changes. The oldest I have is around 30kB - which is fine -
but the latest one is over 600kB.

How do you create a check box, I've seen them used before on Word doc's but
have no idea of how to set one up.  I know on the ones I've seen used you can
right click on them and select checked and it puts an X in the box for you.  
Just dont know how to add it in.  Ideas anyone... ...

I'm using a set of Avery labels which come in sheets of 4 wide x 6 deep.
Avery has a template for printing on the labels which is in the form of a
Word doc table 4 cols x 6 rows.

get a lot of Word files to be published on CD, and I need to make them as
generic as possible. I know how to make Word show me missing fonts
(Tools|Options|Compatibility|Substituted Fonts), but I don't know ...

Recently, in reading one of my documents, I noticed a grayed I-beam seating
at the beginning of one word. And this is the still <I-beam>, not the
character <I>, or <1>, or a mouse pointer. I can highlight it and move it ...

Is it possible to have each letter and number occupy identical widths?  IOW, i and W take up the same space.  I am compiling columns
of numbers and it would handy if I could control this without bothering with tables, etc.

I can't keep Word as my email editor in XP Outlook. Even thou i keep checking
it as an option, it changes when after every sent msg. --
I did updates and ran Outlook and word repair.
