FILE PERMISSION FOR FILE. HOW DOD I DO THAT? IT ALSO SAYS USE THE FILE OPEN
DIALOG BOX TO LOCATE THE FILE. HOW DO I DO THAT?

How do I adjust the page borders for printing? I have a sheet with a border
around the 4 edges of the page, when I print the page the border is missing
from the bottom but can`t work out how to resolve this.

Every change I make to my open document is saved to my desktop as a different
version? they show up as almost transparent *.tmp files. I have Word 2003. it
appears as ~$ and then the document name. a lot of times I don't even have to
make any changes, it appears on the desktop ...

Using Office 2003 SBE, I'm setting up a Company fax.
At the moment it's a .doc (not template) and I'm working on setting up the
1st page (ideally without using VBA so that I might avoid Certificate issues
when deploying the fax).

Suddenly the top blue bar is still there when Full Screen is activated.  (The one with
the Minimize, Maximize and Close symbols on the right side.)  How can I get rid of it?
It never used to be there.  I must have hit a setting accidentally.

Everything is as it should be when I open a doc from Word program. But as
soon as I open them from windows explorer...I lose all my Word drop down
commands under edit, view, format, tools, etc...and my toolbars are screwed
up, like word has a different default setting. It is a ...

Within the past couple of weeks windows has done it to me
once again --I cannot open a word doc attached to an e-mail
or from a folder by the usual double-clicking.  Any help?

I open Format , change case, and click "Sentence case" but when I go back to
my Word document the print is in UPPER CASE or Title Case.  Driving me crazy.

I thought that Print Layout or Print Preview (they look identical) would indicate how
it prints.  I am using an old dot matrix printer (Panasonic 24 pin narrow carriage
KX-P1180).  Is this normal?  Is it the printer or my printing settings in Word 2000?

I change the text for my envelope and click ok, but it still keeps coming out
large print, any ideas?

i'm trying to open into my ms word, but "this modification is not allowed
because the document is locked" keep appearing, and i can't get to use ms
word. Pls. advice.

I doubled my RAM to no avail. The program still has the aggravating
habit of 'hanging' on a keystroke or command, not showing what the last
action was until I move the cursor or create another keystroke. Am I
clear?
