I'm helping someone with a problem that baffles me. I have one computer which I can open a document of a fairly decent length, and I can select text in it all day long.. no problems.. just click-n-drag to the end of the desired selection area.

I have purchased a font that has worked fine on many packages, including Fireworks and Excel. However, when it comes to Word 2004, it appears on the font selection box, but when I select it, or I apply it nothing happens.

Is there a way to set a default window to appear for Save As? I am used to filing documents in my own subdirectories and have never understood the My Documents and Owner folders. I'd like to make the Save As command show the C drive with all subdirectories and go from there.

In response to answer received. We have to present a document in the WordPerfect format as requested by a arbitrator, I always use the Microsoft word for any documents that I type, so I don't know where to go with this, I am not familiar with WordPerfect at all.

How do I set up and use an address book with Microsoft Word? I do not use Outlook, but do use Outlook Express as my email program. When I try to access addresses, all I get is the email address from OE, not the full mailing address.
