I wrote a macro to generate a memo form.  The memo has the usual To:,
From:, etc., and then I want to draw a simple horizontal line under the
heading to separate it from the body of the memo.  I want the line to

I have a document in Word 2000 which contains a lot of numbers in the text
(ie not in tables).
The document was written by someone who uses a space as the thousands
separator, instead of a comma. So, for example whereas I would write

how do you get rid of a dotted line? It looks like a page break but I cannot

I can't figure out what's going on here, hope someone can help.
Insert/Picture/From File to put a picture on the page.  Then I use
Format/Picture/Layout tab to choose a wrapping style (usually square or
tight).  As soon as I pick the picture up and move it to a new position

All of a sudden, when writing a document the computer puts a . (period)
between each letter.   What in the world did I do for this to start?  How do
I fix this?

Is there any way of listing all the files in a directory and importing the
list into a word doc.

iam using office 2002. when printing out some documents with more than 10
pages some of the words have spaces between their letters in the text .

This may have been asked before....I want to make most of my document in a typical horizontal format.  But part of it needs to be in
a vertical format.  Is it possible to do this without using Tables?  Isn't there a simple command to change orientation?

anyone out there know this answer.. i can choose from formatting toolbar..
standard toolbar .. revel formatting  task pane or syles and formatting task
pane???

I work in a school with a small network and one child has a problem that he
is unable to type any further words into document that he has already
started. The mouse works fine but when he uses the keyboard nothing happens.
Has he got one over on me? Or am I missing something ...
