I am using Word 97 under Win98se, and I just had a problem where I can no
longer change fonts, font sizes or bold/italic/underline.
I initially received an error message that normal.dot was corrupt, and Word
could not repair it.

Can anyone help me with this problem.
I start writing with microsoft word and about five mins
later I get a messege saying:

How do I do the following: I have a list of items that are bulleted and I
want a 2 line space between the bullets BUT only a single line space when
lines wrap?
When I set it to 2 line spacing it give me 2 lines even when the lines wraps

when taking scientific equations from my university site onto my pc, instead
of integration symbols and such, my computer shows lightning bolts, wine
glasses and empty boxes, why is this?

In "Microsoft Word 2003 for Law firms" it states that:
- The registry stores the location of the AutoCorrect file (.acl)
- Normal.dot stores the formatted AutoCorrect entries.

I am attempting to print my wedding invitations.  I have followed the
instructions, and done all of the troubleshooting tips, but no matter what I
do the text prints in what would be the center of a standard sized document
instead of in the center of my paper.  Please help

Recently installed Word 2003 and was previously using Word 97.
Now when I open a new document, it opens a new version of Word each
time. How can I change this so that all documents open in same
application?

I am looking for the macro syntax to do the following: I am pasting a
recipe from the web to Word. After pasting I want to select the whole
document and format it to my style of "Recipe Format". Then select any
line that has a colon at the end and format this line to my style

I had to re-install Word and now every new document opens with the Help
function open at the right side of the page. How can I set up Word so
that it opens without Help showing?

I created a numbered list, but want to alphabetize the whole list, but have
it ignore certain words when alphabetizing, like "the".  Can anybody help?

Lately I notice that the spelling selection, after I make the selection for
