Almost every time I insert a table of contents into a document, it
"grabs" the next line and makes it part of the table of contents.
If I turn on paragraph marks (Ctrl+*) and toggle the field setting
(Shift+F9), the line immediately following the TOC is inside the

I was just wondering how I can take MS Word macros for form letters and
memorandums that are installed on the system at work and utilize them on my
home computer so I can do work at my house.  I was able to locate the macros
themselves and place them on a usb drive, but I cannot ...

I tried to add password to protect document from being opened but this does

In Word 2003 if I make a change to a style Word automatically adds it to the
style list - for example "Heading 1 + Italic" or "Normal + Bold" - how can I
stop Word doing this?

I've been working through a problem with MS support.  They advised me to
uninstall Word XP, Outlook XP and Office 2000 (i.e. I had upgraded components
for Word and Outlook).
After reinstalling Office 2000 and then re-installing the 2 XP/2002 components,

At times I type multiple envelopes.  I'm using Word 03.  Is there an
easier way to get to the envelope screen without going to
Tools...Letters & Mailings....Envelopes and Labels for each envelope I'm
addressing?  If there is a button I can put on the tool bar I haven't

When I make a form out af a document in Word is there any way of spell
checking the feilds that are filled in?  Just spell checking the document
dosen't seem to do anything.  Whether the form is "locked" or "unlacked" only
the form itself is checked not the fields that are filled ...

How do I remove Adobe macros from Normal.dot
I could have a template that has all that stuff in it in my templates
directory, but most of the time, I want a clean document without that stuff.

I have Word 2003 and have a line of text which I need to print.  The overall
length of the line is fine but I need to make the letters a little taller
(by between 30 and 50%).  Is this possible?  I thought about putting the
text into a text box and stretching it, but it doesn't ...
