While using Word 2000 to edit a email, Outlook stopped responding and I had to force it to close. Now when I open Word, all the toolbars are missing fro the top of the document. All I have at the top is the blue title bar and the ruler.

I was working on a small document and noticed that my system resources could not handle it. I am working on a Pentium M 1.7 ghz with 1 gb of RAM. I discovered that the file size was 102 MB. When I copied and pasted the text into a new document (same formatting), the doc was 40

I was instructed to save new fonts in my font folder in the control panel, but i had 2 problems: 1. the folder didn't allow me to save most fonts 2. those that i did save weren't accessible when i opened up word

Can somebody tell me how to keep the same formatting. I did have it but for some reason I cannot keep the same settings twice in a row. I like to have Clear formatting; Headings 1, 2, & 3 ; Normal; & whatever

I know how to use the Page Ref Field in a document but I need to use it in one document while the bookmark is located in an other one, eg. a study book (document 1) where it is said: "after reading this lesson, go to the workbook (document 2) and do the excercise "two" page Y.

In my reports I include regerences to sequentially numbered plates (Plate 1), (Plate 2) etc. throughout the text. However, if I delet a plate half way through a report, I then have to manually renuymber all of the subsequent references.
