somehow the main menu bar on my microsoft word 2000 has disappeared.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling word but it has not brought
back the main menu bar.   Does anyone know how to get the menu bar to
re-display again?

Why does the Clipboard item disappear when I load Word? The Clipboard
operates normally after I load Word but any item on the Clipboard before
loading the program disappears as soon as Word loads which forces me to
copy the item to the Clipboard again.
