Cursor does not stay where it is in Word 200325 Oct 2005 03:13 GMT14
What I liked about Word 2002 and below was that even when you scroll
using the scroll wheel on your mouse, the cursor stays where it is.
Therefore, when you want to go back to the cursor, you can just press
the right arrow or left arrow and Word will bring you back to where the

Spaces25 Oct 2005 00:45 GMT3
I use MS Word 98 (not a whole lot of it, though).
This question deals with spaces:  For example, the cost of something is $ 25.34.
In Word 98, the $ sign may be at the end of a line, and the figure will go on
the next line.
Office Update SP224 Oct 2005 22:59 GMT14
The latest Office update (SP2) seems to have caused a lot of problems and
queries -
It was, seemingly, a repeat of SP2 issued very recently
Some have been unable to download it (are they the lucky ones?)

I seem to have stumbled across a bug in Word's (I have 2003 on XP Pro

How do I edit drop-down menus?24 Oct 2005 19:26 GMT1
In Word 2003, there are certain default features in the drop-down menu
(right-click on mouse) in the body of a document (i.e. heading 1, heading 2,
heading 3, etc).  I have no use for these & would like to put some useful
features instead (i.e. font, print page).  When I searched ...

Running Word 2000 SP-3 on Windows 2000
Does the Pickup Format (eyedropper) command still exist?24 Oct 2005 00:56 GMT1
I can find the "Paste Format" command (eye dropper with up arrow) but not the
corresponding copy or select eye dropper command.  Does it still exist in
Word 2003, or has it been replaced with the Format Painter brush.
