DOC files opened from Windows Explorer often, but not always, prompt "do you
want to revert to the saved X.doc."
What causes this annoying prompt, and how can it be banished?  The "recent"
list has been cleared.

Is there a way in Word 2003 to set the default zoom to 100% so that new

What I liked about Word 2002 and below was that even when you scroll
using the scroll wheel on your mouse, the cursor stays where it is.
Therefore, when you want to go back to the cursor, you can just press

I'm using MS Word 2000 V9 which I thing was part of Office 2000
when I installed it, though I never used the rest.
It's driving me crazy with a feature that I can't figure how to
turn off.

I use MS Word 98 (not a whole lot of it, though).
This question deals with spaces:  For example, the cost of something is $ 25.34.
In Word 98, the $ sign may be at the end of a line, and the figure will go on
the next line.

The latest Office update (SP2) seems to have caused a lot of problems and

Running Word 2000 SP-3 on Windows 2000

I can find the "Paste Format" command (eye dropper with up arrow) but not the
corresponding copy or select eye dropper command.  Does it still exist in
