Is there some way to set the default viewing options for the reader of a Word document? i.e. I would like a downloaded document to open on the recipient's computer in Page Layout at 100%. I use Word 97. Thanks

I am editing a long document I have not created. When I added a word to a paragraph ms word adjusted the spacing between the words. It now looks like there is room for 3 or 4 letters between these words. I can't shrink the space to a reasonable size. My cursor just tabs to the ...

I'm new to this site and would appreciate some formatting help. I created a new Word doc and copied and pasted some graphics and some simple text boxes in to it. The graphics and text boxes were created in Powerpoint by someone else. Looks fine on my screen.

When I copy from notepad a big line with text to a Microsoft Word document the Word breaks it up into multiple lines. When I go to the options -> show all it displays many "Pi"'s at the end of the lines. How can I avoid Word from breaking the lines and consider one big line
