In Windows 2002, I have a number of files (chapters of a book) that I
am reviewing. I have worked on one of them and defined its styles.
Question 1. When I open another file, I see that the same style names
are associated with it, but not with the same definition. For instance,

In my Word 2000, currently Ctrl-Home causes the "Find & Replace" box to pop
up.  On most other machines, Ctrl-Home causes the cursor to go to the top of
the document (which I prefer).  How do I set Word to make Ctrl-Home go to top
of document instead of opening the Find/Replace ...

I thought that macros, key assignments, and styles were stored by default in
normal.dot.  At least, they used to be available from one Word doc to
another. Am now using Word 2003.   I cannot get macros, key assignments, and
styles available from one document or session to another ...
