Running Word 2003 as a standard user on XP pro (no admin priviliges) Spell checker is not available to this user. It is available when running an account with admin priviliges. how do I install spell checker on standard user accounts?

I am new to Word and need to print a booklet in 8.5 x 14" format folded in half so the booklet is 8.5 x 7. Pages are numbered. Word perfect had a feature that does this already, but I cannot figure out how to make Word97 or 2000 do this.

One of our programmers is trying to key a line of dashes in a Word document, but when she does. Word is converting the dashes to a solid line or border. Is there any way to prevent this? Thanks.

I uninstalled Office 2000, reinstalled and patched to SP-3. Same problem. The problem is, the bullets show up as exclamation (!) symbols and others as backward E characters. Also, some words have spaces in them that are not really there. I checked

When I open MS word I'm presented with a page that is more square than normal format. Only by adding hitting "Headers and Footers" does the page assume normal shape. This popped up out of the blue. Thanks for any suggestions on a cure to this harmless--but irritating--quirk.
