I am doing a Numbering based on styles but although it goes A, B, C etc, I
need to omit "I", i.e. jump from H to J. Can you help with this, please?

Win 98SE, Word 2000 (Office 2000). It used to work but now is not. I can
search and select a topic/question but when I click on it no answers are
given.
Is there anything I can do before going to re-installation of  Word?

I need to find a copyright symbol for Phonorecords... it looks exactly like
the copyright symbol (c) but instead of the c it is a p.  I can not find this
symbol in the character map and I have searched on the internet, but still
haven't found anything.  Please help!!!

I have Word 2002.  It use to offer "Send to Receiptent as
Attachment".  After, I reloaded it on to the new hard
drive it does not offer this option any longer.  It
places the Word doc in the body of the e-mail message.  

I've been asked to format a table of contents into two columns.
The problme I have is that the second column's page numbers are being placed
WAY off the page to the right, and I can't seem to figure out what I need to
change so that the page numbers are printed on the page.

Seems to me with Word 97 there was some option, when opening Word
directly, to have it _not_ start with a blank document. Then when I
did File>>New and selected a template I'd have just one Word doc

The pink dots -- it's not spellcheck or grammar check. What is it? And how
do I turn it off?

I'm using Word 2000 on a large hard drive computer. Everything on the
machine is working fine. I've been working with Word on documents with no
problems all day, but the last document threw me a problem.

My brother also has Word 2003. Suddenly his Word icon has disappeared from
his desktop and when he tries to arrange a shortcut from the Programs he is
getting an icon which does not seem right. It sounds as if it is a locked
icon and is greyed over. I think he must have hit ...

When I typed 1 1/2, it automatically change the font size for the fraction.
It worked very well for 1/2 , 1/4, and 3/4. But when I typed 4/5 or 2/3,
it won't change the font size.  How do I set up the different fractions that
will match the 1/2 fraction size?  Hope someone can help ...

I use Office 2003 SP1, and am considering installing SP2 via Windows Update.
Does anyone know of problems with SP2 such that it might be better to hold
off installing it? Word crashed the other day and Microsoft's Online Crash
Analysis page suggested SP2. Thanks,

I've never made a calendar on my pc before. How can I access the Wizard? I'm
