When I open MS Word the window opens in an 1/8 page format and I have to
click on the maximize/minimize box in the upper right hand corner of the page
in Word. How do I set Word to open in a full page format.

I am trying to change the style of some text.  I highlight the text.  Select
a style from the pulldown and when I release the mouse the text changes but
the entry on the Format toolbar still stays on Normal.  Why doesn't it set
