I have received a trial edition of microsoft office 2003 with a new computer. I am able to use excel, however, whenever I try to open anything in Word my computer freezes. Help.

Could I use Word to change this: [g] Where have all the [em} flowers gone, [c] long time [d] passing. to having everything in and including the [ ] brackets change to bold and capitals so it would be like this:

I am using the official MS MUI (multi languages) and want to use for proofing English and German. I have followed earlier links to the problem before, but nothing I do keeps the language bar after selection.

I have an odd problem in my Word installation where the Home and Del keys are not working correctly. Both don't do anything, and Ctl-Home brings up the Find and Replace Dialog. I have no problems with these keys in other applications, so it looks like

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of or make disappear the reviewing markup feature in Word. I don't use it, don't want to have to remove the correction history after I edit. I don't want to ever see it again. Help Thanks Stan

One of the attorneys for whom I work wants a section in her 100-page document to be called "F1" with the "F" referring to the financials and listed in the TOC as Section F1 . HOWEVER, she only wants the header of F1 to include 8 of the nearly 20 pages in that section.

How to speed up the loading of WinWord.exe? I don't know why Microsoft Word takes such a long time to open an empty document on my machine even this the first program I try to run after a reboot. I am using Microsoft Office 2003 on a Windows Server 2003 machine with 1GB RAM.

I'm having problems getting Word to compress graphics - so my file is bloated with unnecessary data. The Format-Picture dialog assures me that the compression is going ahead, and that cropped parts of the image are removed. But it's not
