I exported a document from a business plan program to Word 2002. I get
some lists with "bullets" that look like an open rectangle that's
taller than wide in front of each phrase on the line. I want to replace

I often open 15 - 20 tasks (I just checked my taskbar) at once. Just
now it is mostly Mozilla and Word, a couple of Irfanview images, a copy
of Notepad, and a file folder display.

I have a student who has typed a list of names and addresses in this
format:

When I am typing along, and I want a word underlined, I type Ctrl-u, the
word, then Ctrl-u again, then the space after the word.  However, this
Un-underlines the word.  What gives??  At this point, I have to go back and
highlight the word, then underline it again.  or let the ...

When I open a new Word document the cursor is at 0.0" instead of at 0.5"
(where I have the default setting for headers).
When I do a View -> Headers and Footers and then close the view the cursor
is in the correct place, 0.5".

Is there any easy was to draw the two objects above? I tried the 'arc' in
the basic shapes, but it's very tricky to manipulate. The little (yellow,
white, and green) circles never give me the control I expect.

I have run into a small problem. For maintenance reasons I have defined
headers and footers in a global template. Header and footers then use an
