When creating documents sometimes I want to choose a font based on the way it looks. The slowest way is to highlight a sample text, change it to a different font, and keep trying until all fonts have been tried. This could take a long time.

Would like to execute a macro when a doc is opened. i.e. click on the file & the macro gets run after word opens the file. How do you do that? TIA

I am trying to insert a file in a open document. I can insert the file but the file I insert does not include the header and footer that appears in the file onto the open document. Is there any way to perform that function

My son asked me if there is a way to put "stress indicators" above a letter in a Word document ... like the line above the first "e" in Renee, or something like that. I tried Help, but perhaps I'm not calling it by the same thing Microsoft does ....

Does Word have a feature similar to that of DOS based WordPerfect's "Reveal Codes?" This feature allowed users to examine and edit embedded codes ... very helpful when working with obstinate documents. TIA

I need to combine 20 or so individual section reports into one document, an end of year activity report. I'll put in a TOC and title page and add page numbering. Before I start, is there a best way to do this - using Office 2000?

I have a printed form of Architect's Instructions to be filled in using Word 2003. I have set up the sheet as a two column table and got all the spacing correct. I would now like to fix the table heights so that whatever is typed in, the sheet won't 'slip'.

Word 2003 I'm not a new user - but this seems pretty basic. I cannot figure out how to ensure a new blank document opens at 100% They always open at 90%
