I am mail merging from an Excel doc where the date is in UK format in Excel
however the mail merge in Word shows in US format (Month first)
how do I tell Word to present the date in UK format please?

I just upgraded from an OEM Office 2000 on a Win XP Pro computer,
to Office 2003/2006 Small Business Management Edition..
Page Setup is grayed out for new documents even after typing and saving.
Old documents can be reformatted at will in Page Setup, as before,

I scanned a word doc into an existing doc and cant format the two to make
one, also I deleted some of the scan pages but am left with full blank pages.
why doesn't the text meet the rest of doc? or how can i delete the blank
pages.

every 10s my cursor 'egg timers' and Word pauses, why?

to do all except the final step(s).

Even if I just open a document and do nothing to it, Word 2002 keeps
asking if I want to save it.
It never used to do that before.
How can I stop Word 2002 from asking if I want to save a document to

When I separate sections of text I type a row
of asterisks which then change length & shape
after I press CR.
Is there any way to turn this off?

At the bottom of the Word 2002 the page numbers are 'grayed out'.
Wiil some kind person please advise me on, how to cause page
numbers to be displayed?

I have a new form in word which I can fill in and it gets sent OK but I

I want to Create Approx' 100 sequential numbered tickets, 4 tickets to an A4
