i am tyrn to use my document to type up something and i can't because it is
locked . how do i go about gettin the lock off to used it

I am trying to print a document that has strikethroughs. On the screen it
shows the strikethroughs, but when I print they have been changed to a
"deleted" box with a line pointing to where the strikethroughs were. HELP!

Am using Word 2000 with all latest updates on W98.
I needed to exclude one word from the spell and followed all the

Is it possible to have a document save so changes are saved but the document
opens with the changes hidden by default?

Each time I try to save a file from word into another folder other than
My Documents folder it freezes on me and I have to close it from the
task manager. When I go to save the file, Word takes me directly to My
Documents folder to save it in, but then when I double-click on another

In Word I went to click to my computerlink and then went to the templates
dialog box and click the Mail Merge tab and then click Elegant Merge Letter

I have a problem with word application. I am generating a document,
saving it on disk and open it. When I am using the keyboard to scroll
it, no problem, everything works ok. When I am using the mouse, click
right on vertical scrollbar and scroll down, it is freezing after 2-3

It's Word 2002 on Win XP Home with SP2.  Word starts up OK, either by
executing Word without specifying a file, or by double clicking any doc
file, and can print or save (using File->Save) any doc file, but hangs
immediately as soon as I click on "File->Open" or "File->Save

is there any service pack for word 2003 , where can i find and downloded ?

I am not having any luck using individual headers to create a table of
contents in a word.doc.  Can this be done?

my daughter create a poster in Word 2003. She inserted text from Word art
but it doesn't show up unless we switch to print preview. This didn't happen
before, anyone know the solution? We check under options but we didn't see
anything there that could be causing this problem.

i  searched the "insert icons" tingi...n found tamil characters. but did not
find any bengali characters. whcih font r those?
