I would like to create an invoice in Word, using a table to list each service/item. However, I need this to auto number each invoice. For instance, the first invoice is 00045 then the next one would automatically be 00046 when I open it.

I'm trying to use Find (Ctrl+F) with wildcards to find a certain string ending in a number between 60 and 81. I tried (App A, Item No. )([60-81]{2}) but it found "App A, Item No. 10". I looked on the Word FAQ page for

I am utilizing a Word template resume. I need to increase the amount of experience/work history blocks or sections from 4 to 8. I know it is not difficult as I have done this before but cannot seem to find the correct procedure or steps.

I wanted to create an image with a caption, so I created a table with one column and two rows, put the image in the top cell and the caption in the lower cell. At least that's what I think I did. I don't remember for sure any more, and I can't decipher what Word is showing me. ...

In my Word 2000 program, the text that I am typing will suddenly stop showing up on the document. The window at the top shifts from active to inactive at the same time. This happens frequently during a single session.

I've just gotten started with autotext and I can see that it will be an important time saver for me if I can figure out how to use it well. Usually while emailing, I have been using Alt+F3 to add a lot of new autotext entries and that works fine.

I am having a real problem with the entry point jumping back or forward and taking the just entered type with it. It is very frustrating to be typing away and all of a sudden you are entering text two or three lines up.
