Product ID for Word 2004 not accepted for online registration by M23 Oct 2006 04:40 GMT3
I tried to register my Word 2004 (for Mac) software online at Microsoft, but
the Product ID that I used was rejected:
"Invalid Product ID (PID): Please enter a valid PID."
I did, in fact, input the CORRECT Product ID, and NOT the Product Key.

1. The spell checker keeps changing to US English and also ticks the box don't
spell check or check grammar. The auto detect box is ticked but I've tried
this both ways. I keep resetting to UK English and it stays for a while and

I am trying to create email merge.
So far I can create an email merge that can send the text to the particular

Hi...no matter what I change with TOOLS>>options...  or
TOOLS>>customize... or even with the page setup (e.g. margins, then
click default to change the normal.dot)nothing is kept.
Next time I start up Word everything is back at the default settings.
