For some reason, Word 2003 has slowed upon opening. It gives me the splash screen and from there it opens very slowly. I've deleted and reinstalled my printer, checked my fonts, and can find no reason for it to be opening slowly. Can someone advise me of what else I mght try?

My other computer crashed. I am trying to get Microsoft Office 2003. I put in the product code it called for. It says it is wrong. It is the Microsoft code I got when I purchased my laptop. What could be wrong? I have a Microsoft Works Suite 99-should I install that one?
