I've been using the replace function for years to tidy up documents with too many spaces and tabs. I prefer to use two spaces after a sentence. Might someone know of a way to use the replace function for sentences that have only one space after the period before the next ...

I make some forms, in which some elements are layed out with tables. I save the template with "Table / Show gridlines" turned off - anyway when the document is opened, the gridlines are visible again. Can I set gridlines turned off in the document by default? (Word 2002)

I try to add a line below a paragraph using the Borders and shading dialog. I set a solid bottom border, apply it to the paragraph, and then click "Options". In the border and shading options dialog, I set "From text" to 1 pt for the bottom, and 0 pt for top, left and right.
