Word 2002 on Windows XP I'd like the document map to show only "Heading 1,2,3", like what appears in the table of contents. However, I see lots of other entries, almost any bold sentances, short lines, etc.

I place a typewritten page on the scanner. I scan it comes up on the screen modified by the OCR software..It can be edited then how do I go about placing it in a folder o file or whatever...I have over 5000 pages to do.

I want to do a global find/replace to replace a normal "e" in certain French words with an accented "e". I can do so manually using Insert | Symbol. But I can't figure out how to introduce the accented "e" into the "Replace" section of the Find/Replace dialog box.

Reporting back on the previous problem and the resulting thread, I don't know what the year 2145 had to do with that error message but correcting it seems to have solved the problem as can now write to both of my hard disks. Thanks to all for your input.

Hoping someone has an explanation for this. If I try to add a hyperlink to a Word document or HTM document, the hyperlink fails to be created. Or if I try to edit a hyperlink, the hyperlink disappears. Word applies the hyperlink style, but the actual hyperlink is not there.
